There's a little more to Fate of One than you can see at face value right now. Like everyone, I started out sucky.
On January 28th, 2007 I started my first MySpace layout site. It was called Egocentric. It was kindof an inside joke in my art 2 class at the time. That site got to about 2.7k after about a month and then it started getting phished every day. So I was like
"You know what? SCREW THIS!" and I moved to my backup on March 3rd, and changed my name to Khaki Eyeliner. I have no idea how that name came about. It's debatable on whether it's even close to a good name. Personally, I hate it. Well anywho. Khaki got to 27k sometime in June, like right after Alive Fest '07. Then it got hacked.
I really didn't do anything to deserve it. I just happened to have the right friend count at the wrong time, I guess. Anyway, right now it's Done Layouts. Hah. My "friend" Matt felt bad for me and gave me his 32k account because he had quit a couple weeks before. He lied to me and told me he didn't know the email password. I got that up to 42k or something like that
and then decided I wanted to start fresh. I made Hyperbolated. The name just kindof came to me. Literally, I was at my friend Brittany's house and I was like "When I get home I'm making a site called HYPERBOLATED." And so it was. July 11th, 2007: Hyperbolated was born. And 5 months later, here I am. Quite successful, I think. <-- EDITTTT. On January 5th, Hyperbolated reached 100k. (: It was also hacked that day.
So now here I am. Fate of One. Nifty, eh? Contributions
Alot of people have helped me along the way here. First it was my first best friend Justine. She helped me so much when I was bouncing back from my maaaajorrr 2.7k loss. Haha. I miss her. She took a break and we grew apart. But babyyyy, you're not forgotten. (: My next big help was... excuse me WERE (plural) Morgan and Madison from Got Friends?
Even though they were a "big site" at the time (8k!) they still helped me out in my struggle for friends and they were so nice to me. Hahhh the Got Friends?™ Train. Good times. Next was Brandon. While I was getting hacked he took the time to save all of my layouts for me before they got deleted. He's a major part of why I'm still here today. Yay, Brandon. BYYY THE WAYY. I think we're still hitched. (;<3 Next, though I hate to admit it, Jaime helped me alot. He owned Breakdown and he's the one who introduced me to my beloved PhotoShop CS2.
We don't talk anymore, but I guess he deserves kudos. Next I thank Luke. He whored me and stufff when I first started Hyperbolated up. Him and his big 89k. ;D We got each others' backs. <3 Thanks Bryce for hosting me. TWICE. Haha even though the first time I never used my site. (; Andandand thanks JAMESS! He's a frikken code genius and without him, I'd have no idea what I'm doing with this website. Boiii, you got it goin' on. ;D And Tyler... Haha okay this is gonna sound so blahh.
